Fantasy races as aliens

I've been playing Guild Wars 2 a lot, and two of the player races are aliens who actually crash-landed on the planet. I think this is an awesome idea.

The Charr have a giant globe spaceship as their home city. They are big, cat-like beings with horns. They are very tough, and value strength over other attributes. They are constantly in a state of war, from what I can see.

The Asura are little floppy guys, who value intellect above all. They have a lot of golems, and golemancers are incredibly influential. They work together in krewes, and are far more concerned with Science (pulp science, at that), than marching off to war. Their home city is a giant cube, also a spaceship.

As far as I know, neither the Charr nor the Asura are aliens. During the first game, the Charr invade Ascalon, trying to retake land the humans took from them. The Black Citadel was actually built sometime between Guild Wars 1 and 2.

The Asura were underground dwellers until they were driven out by destroyers. Their city (Rata Sum) was not Asura work, it was actually some ruins they moved into.

The humans were actually brought to Tyria from somewhere else by their gods, making them the aliens.

There is one fantasy race whose capital is a crashed spaceship, and that's the Dranei from World of Warcraft.

Damn. That's what I get for not researching. I really thought those cities were spaceships. They certainly look like them.
