Anyone have the new Carcosa yet?
I have the original unexpurgated edition. I was wondering if anyone has the new version being published by LotFP and what they thought of it. I'd really like to know is if it's worth bothering with if you already have the original.
It incorporates the 400 hex description that was previously available Strange Sights of the Doomed World Carcosa - Crussdaddy, adds 400 more, and also features the adventure The Fungoid Gardens of the Bone Sorcerer – Geoffrey McKinney, 2009.
It is a professional reprint of assorted material with lots of new bits added.

The 800 hex descriptions are the original 400 + the 400 Strange Sights descriptions. Some have been slightly revised but there are no wholly new hex descriptions.

The publisher himself hasn't received them from the printer yet.
According to LOTFP though, it will have a lot of extras...new hexes, an adventure, and art work.

And if the width of the spine is anything to go by, it's going to be a hell of a lot fatter than the original.

The book will be right around 3cm thick.
